Geocache Description:

"1902 m. Anykščiuose buvo pastatyta medinė užtvanka, 1910 m. įrengtas vandens malūnas su pirmąja Aukštaitijoje ir antrąja Lietuvoje hidroelektrine. 1919-1920 m. Jono Karvelio iniciatyva užtvanka ir elektrinė buvo rekonstruota, paskui dar kartą rekonstruota 1947 m. ir iki 1969 m. tiekė Anykščiams elektrą. Senosios medinės užtvankos vietoje 1986 m. buvo pastatyta nauja betoninė Šventosios upės užtvanka." - bla bla bla... :)

Užtvanka ir pesčiųjų tiltas per Šventosios upę. Labai grazi vieta, atsiveria nuostabus vaizdas.
