**WATER ACCESS ONLY***A regular size cache on an old Parks Canada picnic ground (no longer maintained) at the outlet of the Little Chute. This is an easy cache once you get on land. Dock is in very poor condition so use with caution. Update (07/26/2022) Dock is pretty much disintegrated, you may need to anchor close and wade in. Wear water shoes and enter at your own risk. We managed fine with our 10 year old.
This was our first family cache. We'd love to see your pics of the find. Enjoy!! Cache is a plastic screw-top container wrapped in black tape with an orange top containing log, pen, and small tradeables. Dock your boat at the old dock (be careful as the boards are rotting and loose with nails popping out(disintegrated!!!) and head up the hill slightly to the right. Cache is covered by rocks and sticks. Please replace carefully. As always, be cautious around the water with little ones. Winter access is not recommended as the water in this area does not freeze completely.
