3Engies: Well someone has a nice souvenir! AGroovie1 reported that the entire cache container is missing. So someone either needed that particular log of ten pounds of cedar to burn in their fire pit or line their cedar closet with ... or someone really liked my cache container! Either way the cache is missing. I am sidelined with an injury right now. Once I am able, I will re-hide some other cache in these woods to replace it. But I will not re-hide in the same location. Nor will I re-hide such a nice container. I'll go back to lock-n-locks. Thanks for those who played the game and enjoyed the cache container and LEFT IT BEHIND for others to find and enjoy!

Geocache Description:

This is a standard sized cache in the Ricker Field area in Easton, MA

I discovered this area in doing the cache place in here by CacheGolem. They picked a lovely spot to plant a cache and I encourage you to take the time to find it. As there is plenty of room I decided to place a couple more in here to encourage more people to explore this lovely area which is well hidden.

There are two parking area's readily available. I recommend the Easton Pool area as it has lots more space to park in. They say that the gate closes at dusk, but I have never seen it closed.

There is a shooting range nearby, so don't be surprised if you hear gunshots every once in awhile. The range is shooting in the other direction, away from the conservation area. Hunting is however allowed on the property so be sure to take appropriate precautions and wear blaze orange during hunting season.

The cache is not a usual container type and is within five feet of the trail. No bushwhacking is required.
