The steps are rotting and have been permanently sealed off. The cache is located at the base of the tower.

This cache is located at the site of the old East Feliciana Parish fire tower. This tower was used by lookouts to search the area for fires. Everyday someone would climb over ten stories to reach the top. The tower has now been decommissioned but you can still visit the location and marvel at how high the lookouts had to climb. While you are here take some pictures and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
