Basketball #10 - The Crab Walk Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

It has been at least 2 weeks since I last contacted you. In that time I have had no response from you and there has been no indication that the needed maintenance has been completed. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If you correct the problem I indicated at some time in the near future I will take another look at it and may consider unarchiving the cache.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

I've decided to do up a series of caches dedicated to my favourite pastime. FTF will be e-mailed for the first lucky cacher. You are searching for a pill container that is camoed to its environment. Please try to re-hide better than found .... and you thought this series was done at 7?!?! Ha!

This is a tongue in cheek acknowledgement of a shady basketball move called The Crab Dribble.
What is a crab dribble?
In theory, it is when the dribbler has their back to a defender and dribbles the ball between their feet with step-slide footwork.

The Crab Walk came into the spotlight circa 2007 by way of LeBron James, who used it at will, often travelling or double-dribbling in the process. He was called for a travel during an NBA Finals game and expressed his disbelief that he actually violated one of basketball's most basic rules.

In reality, the Crab Walk is nothing more than a violation of actual basketball rules and a source of jokes among the people of the basketball community. But it makes great conversation at sports parties.

I put my foot in the pavement,
With the brothers I'm raised with,
Play with and break dance back in the days with.
And still in the game with 12 points, 4 assists,
Get up in the game, in your face like swish!
Crash the boards with metaphors,
In the air like a concord
Ay-yo what you out for?
Ay-yo I'm out for the whole score
22 flat seconds for me to rep
I can't win for losin with this cheatin @$$ ref
