The nearest car park is at Roddlesworth Info Centre N 53° 41.329 W 002° 30.488. Leave the carpark by the path in front of the cafe and then take the bridleway which runs by the side of the row of houses.
The cache is in a small clear round container on the path between Stepback Brook and Steepback Clough. Stepback Clough is full of history- the name is said to come from Oliver Cromwell who was on the moor in bad weather with his troops and ordered them to "step back,go no further". But who knows for sure?
This is our first geocache. Have fun, and why not carry on up to the tower after and catch some of the other caches in the area!
