It’s just a short walk "off the beaten path". Be cautious of where you step and beware of snakes, gators and other little critters. This cache is located on Belle River in Pierre Part on Highway 70 near the Atchafalayla River Basin and Lake Verret. “Choot’em” has become a famous phrase voiced by Troy Landry on the History Channel series “Swamp People”. The show follows a group of alligator hunters during the 30-day Louisiana alligator season in various areas of South Louisiana, including the huge Atchafalaya Swamp. One of the teams is Troy Landry along with his sons Jacob, Chase and family friend Clint, all from Pierre Part. Segments of the series are actually filmed in Pierre Part.
