Geocache Description:

Please respect land owner and do this cache in day time hours only. This location is where the Butterfield School was.

It was built in 1910. It was a two room school with an average of 15 to 20 students per room. The school system eventually had two buses and a gymnasium. After being empty for 30 years the school was tore down in 1982.
