n7nsv: A job change has left me unable to care properly for this series of caches. Rather than frustrate everyone, I'm going to archive them to free up the location for someone else and/or such time as I am able to care for and feed them properly. Power Caching seems to be a relatively new phenomenon in the geocaching world. Personally, I have mixed feelings about them. On one hand, it can be a nice way to pad your numbers, and see new sights. On the other hand, it can be a dull, monotonous repetition of the same cache, over and over again.
This series puts a new twist on the power cache, in that it's an urban cache series along a public city road! Caches are placed at at roughly regular intervals along a 2.4 mile stretch of Seltice Way in Post Falls. They are all micro containers, of two different types. They are all on the south side of the road.
Drive-by and pedestrian muggle activity is high along most of the route. The caches were placed at night, and that might be the safest time to hunt (or at least after business hours).
I may or may not do more of these depending on how this first set is received. This series was planned out to be a 20+ cache series, but due to placement issues and other area caches it's dwindled do a dissappointing 11 caches. Hopefully you can still have some fun with it though!
I figure there are a few ways you could approach this cache series:
1 - If you're just out for numbers, then here are 11 easy grabs. Try enjoying a walking tour of downtown Post Falls, it's a great way to get some excercise.
