Cache is small plastic airtight container, with log, pens and trades. at the side of an old miners cart track which is a public walk. it is hidden up a small bank behind some foliage just off the path heading towards the infamous Sandstone Trail.
This Cache is close to Cheshire’s Sandstone Trail which is one of the finest and most popular long distance walks in North West England, in the UK. For many, it’s probably the best Cheshire walk and the ultimate Cheshire Way.
The Sandstone Trail stretches for 34 miles/55 kilometres and offers superb, unbroken, and often elevated walking across the still largely green and pleasant English county of Cheshire — from the ancient market town of Frodsham on the broad Mersey estuary, in the north, to Georgian Whitchurch in rural north Shropshire, in the south.
