Ansty Church Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Smallduo: Sadly, I think it is time to archive all my caches, as I'm no longer able to maintain them properly. It's disappointing for others when the caches they've spent time looking for are either missing or in disrepair.
Many thanks to all those who have logged my caches in the past.
The late Mr S and myself enjoyed this pastime for many years.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a magnetic nano container. Please just sign the log with your initials only!

I was born and brought up in the village of Shilton. Much of my free time was spent playing in the fields and woods around my home.

Ansty is the neighbouring village to Shilton and I frequently walked the footpath from my home, across the fields to Ansty church. You can no longer get directly from my old home to Ansty as the M69 has been built between the two! There are, however, still footpaths that join the two villages.

If you’re not planning a “dash and cache” in Ansty ~~ explore! You can park at the south end of Shilton, walk down towards the village and join the footpath system on the left just before the railway bridge. Then you can do the round trip across the fields to Ansty church and then back up the roadway to Shilton. Be warned, the paths across the fields can get very muddy and slippery!

Congratulations to GeoGruff and Enilu for FTF and STF :D
