Drive to the intersection of 245th and Q Street. Go south to Pine Ridge Road, N 41 11.493, W 96 17.886 and follow this gravel road till you reach the parking lot (0.6 mi) for the T.L Davis Grassland. A very beautiful prairie opened for foot traffic only. Permission has been granted by the UNO Biology Department for the placement of this cache and welcome all to enjoy the area. Over the years I have cached in this area a couple of times. Currently there is also an active cache GC2VA83. A great area to hike and to enjoy its country atmosphere. This is about a .34-mile jaunt (RT) with its seasonal hazards, hidden tree stumps and thick vegetation. So wear good boots and bring skeeter stuff and watch out for the poison ivy. Have fun and enjoy the countryside.
