Geocache Description:

An easy challenge at the posted coordinates that, if found during August 2013, 2014, 2015, 27-28, 2016, 15 2020 confers a souvenir for that day Potentially unlocks the Temple of Artemis.. What could be finer?

Are you getting frustrated finding a challenge whose requirements you have a sporting chance of fulfilling? Frustrate no more, my friends. This blue question mark is benign. There is no tricky field math or GSAK/armchair math: the cache is at the posted coordinates. However, to log this cache, you must also meet all of the following criteria:

  1. You must have found at least one geocache, of any type, at any time, past, present or future. This cache fulfills its own requirement.

In other words: you're good. As a self-fulfilling, self-documenting challenge cache, you (and I) will not have to do anything like:

  • Log caches on ten of the world’s smelliest dumpsters, back-alley grease traps, or spider-webbiest lamp skirts near big box retail centers.
  • Make a bookmark listing of all caches hidden by users whose caching names are palindromes, ingredients in Twinkies, or rhyme with obscure words like chilver, gyron, dusp, hurkle and didst.
  • Find all of the caches I've found, in the order I've found them. If you miss one, you have to start over, using a new geocaching handle.
  • Ascertain the world population of 35mm film canisters repurposed as geocache containers east of Issaquah (but subtract the ones with purple stickers for an arbitrary reason known only to the challenge owner) and then log one per day, until pigs fly...
  • Outlay more time documenting how you've fulfilled the byzantine and seemingly arbitrary requirements of the challenge than Hercules took to finish his twelve labors.
Furthermore, if you find it during the month of August, 2013, you may also qualify for a special souvenir icon silently delivered by the geocaching.com website souvenir ninja. (And if you missed it, here is an unofficial souvenir.) As a special bonus for reading this far, upon logging this cache, you may, if you choose, claim a no-rush, Oprah-style FTF if this is the first time you've personally found it. And if you should care to discover my geocoin that disappeared in the night, its code is PCWZ54 Did I mention this cache begins with a Q, letting it count towards the alphabet challenge?. And there's a scuba attribute icon (Thanks for the suggestion, Prying Pandora)
Prepared for caching
KirkGirls is up to the challenge!

2016-05-27: To comply with the new challenge guidelines, here is a link to the Project GC checker. If in doubt, run this after logging the find (Thanks, Blundeen10, for finding that 'use case' ):

If you're seeing this, the cache is located in the downhill wall on the left.

The cache is located on an immensely convenient paved trail connecting West Lake Sammamish and Eastgate. Like the challenge, the find is not intended to be difficult. The terrain rating is based on the walking distance from the closest parking coordinates. I include alternate parking coordinates if you would enjoy a longer walk and try some of the other caches noted below.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Triangular hole in rock wall, trail side, one foot up, face north. The uphill bend will be to your left. You'll be facing the chasm/back to the ocean-like roar of I-90. If you are a new cacher and are having difficulty finding it, ideally (because it's good for karma) log a DNF and contact me for more specifics. I am happy to help.]
