Churchill Park or Tahuna Tohe - easy walk along well formed tracks, a number of seats with great views. Take your bike and/or your dog or just go for a stroll.
Churchill Park or Tahuna Tohe – is a pleasant local park of about 44 hectares situated in the Auckland suburb of Glendowie. Varied terrain with lots of tracks, a creek, native bush and regularly a number of cattle – so watch out for ‘pats’!
Interesting history – was briefly a golf course but was pretty challenging (might explain some of the stands of trees). Was to have been the starting point for a sewage tunnel to Browns island! Is the home to Churchill Park School.

Popular with lots of walkers, joggers, bikers, dog exercisers etc. around.
The cache is near a formed walking track and lots of interesting things in general locality.
Cache consists of a black 250ml plastic screw top storage cylinder containing logbook, pencil, eraser and a few goodies. Please feel free to swap goodies and enter your name and comments in the note book.
