Vlonder Maria Hendrikapark Traditional Cache

Deze cache brengt je naar het Maria Hendrikapark en laat je vanaf één van de houten pontons genieten van het zicht op de Oostendse Sint-Jozefkerk, de watertoren, en de rust die het water en eenden met zich meebrengen.

This cache brings you to the Maria Hendrikapark and lets you enjoy views on the Sint-Jozef church of Ostend, along with the water tower and the tranquility of the pond and ducks, from one the wooden pontoons.

De cache is ongeveer twee maal de grootte van een filmrolletje, er rest niet echt ruimte voor trackables e.d.

The cache is about twice the size of a film cannester, there is not really any room left for trackables and sorts.

Even uitrusten aan de rand van de visvijver in het Maria Hendrikapark of… zelf het ruime sop kiezen met een roeibootje of waterfiets. In hetzelfde park vindt u ook het mooie Spiegelmeer, ideale locatie voor een romantische wandeling of een sportieve jogging. Het Maria Hendrikapark wordt in de volksmond kortweg ‘het bosje’ genoemd.

The Maria Hendrikapark is an area of about 45 ha situated south of the city centre. The park has a variety of different ponds, open grass areas, two playgrounds and the Koninginnehof with cafetaria and restaurant, rowing boats, pedal boats, a traffic park, baby-carts and a miniature golf course. It is also a paradise for joggers. The park is also called 'Het Bosje'.
