Geocache Description:

This cache can be reached by car if preferred via Mill St. The cache is another in the series around the village of Polstead.

Another film canister type. Take a pen with you. Fairly easy to find again if you get your co-ords right. The long lane walk is worth the effort but can be very uneven underfoot. Parking at the top of the lane is advisable but please don't block any gateways/openings to fields etc. By the time you get there it'll be time for T? The next cache further on can be found after a lovely walk along a FP beside the river. Believe it or not the R.Box is a very healthy little river supporting trout (so it must be clean). I have done river studies in this river and found it to be prolific in micro-fauna. The aquatic flora is minimal due to the slow flow of the river and consequent sediment overlay. There is a nice spot to grab a photo of the church from the meadow on the way to the Mill.
