On the OS this is shown as a pool perhaps from a spring beneath Whittington tump . It is quite dry now but the surrounding trees survive.
One of my typical black bottles , this location just begged a cache and approached from my Beneath the Tracks provides stunning views towards the Malverns , best done on a bright clear morning .
The footpath marked on the map has been obliterated by the A4440 to the south and looks impassable from the north through the roadworks. Anyway take care and respect the farmer's fields .
Roadworks now complete but I cannot vouch for this route as I have never used it .
The cache tree is very hollowed and did swallow my first cache so now the hide is a bit to one side of the obvious cavern.
