We've got bicycles, roofing material, carpet, lumber, doors and who knows what else. We haven't found any toilets yet though. I think we got them all last time.
You should prepare for maximum tick exposure. They were present in March, so no reason not to believe they will not be out in full force.
This cleanup is made possible with the help of Jennifer Jones Lacey (Special Projects Manager) and Kevin Evans (KCP&R North Region Superintendent). This will be round 2 at Tiffany Springs Park. We will likely have a few more here, before moving onto another park.
The coordinates listed are the general location for parking. There is very large shoulders on both sides of Hampton Road that should provide plenty of parking safe from traffic. We will schedule the CITO for 8:00AM to 11:30AM! There will likely be an after lunch event to follow.
Some photos with the outline of the area we will be concentrating on will be posted here very soon. For those of you that attended in March, it will likely be across the road from where we were previously.
