Geocache Description:

Survivors of Sir George Somers’ ship, the Sea Venture, gave this bay its name after they discovered tobacco growing here. The beach here is the most popular in St George’s

This is a SNORKEL CACHE!!!! Please wear WATER SHOES , WATER GLOVES, AND SNORKEL EQUIPMENT for this CACHE, as the rocks can be very sharp!!!! This is our first snorkel cache in Bermuda. THis is a great spot to see the beauty of the ocean and some fish and coral. If you have an underwater camera bring it with you. DO NOT OPEN THE CACHE UNDERWATER. . Bring the cache up out of the water, Please leave the weight in the cache container............Depending on low or hide tide the cache is either 1 foot or up to 5 feet under.
