Parking is available at N 51° 56.016 W 000° 22.856 and its a good place to start and finish.
This is a 35mm film case. There is no pen and just a small log in the cache.
This is a circular walk of about 3 miles, the terrain is fairly easy going but there is a short bit of the path that is across a field and probably not suitable for a buggy unless its a tough one. Sorry not wheelchair suitable.
The track will get very muddy as large parts of it are bridleway. Dogs need to be kept on leads where notices advise.
The history of Lilley is long and fascinating, much of the village we see today is 250 years old at least but the area has been populated for much longer. The Roman Icknield Way passes just to the North of the village and it's reputed that there is an ancient temple along this route of some 5-6000 years old. Part of the walk passes the Icknield way.
