Want to be part of a world-wide event? Join us June 9, 2012, at the Drill Field on the campus of Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. Dozens of World Wide Flash Mob events are coordinated to happen at exactly the same time, bringing together veteran cachers and introducing others to the sport.

At precisely 12:00 PM, we will assemble, sign the logbook, and take a group photo. We'll visit with other cachers, trade or discover trackables, etc.

At 12:15... it's over! The event area will be vacated without a trace - but feel free to continue your day looking for the many caches hidden on campus!

Update 21-MAY-12: We have confirmed with Groundspeak that there WILL BE a souvenir for all official WWFM IX events. Souvenirs are virtual pieces of art that you can discover and display on your profile page. The souvenir will be retroactively awarded to all those who have logged an "attended" log on any of the official WWFM IX events by JUNE 12. This will only be done one time, so make sure to to log your attendance soon after the event!

Update 22-MAY-12: FTF Prize has arrived! The First-to-Find cacher (as determined by raffle during the event) will receive a certificate and a WWFM IX Commemorative Geocoin, trackable on geocaching.com! In addition, we will have SWAG to give away to those who attend!
