This cache is located near the public bulletin board of the USFS Ashland Ranger Station. While here look at the bulletins, pick up a free map of the Custer National Forest area, and check on the fire danger sign located a little east of here. Inside the office is additional educational materials and a friendly staff, including a new geocacher who gave me permission to place this one.
There is easy drive up parking here, as well as plenty of room for RV's or larger vehicles. Parking area is just off of State Highway 212 as it enters town on the west end.
Original contents include logbook, pen, small trade swag, FTF prize of Geocaching pin.
