Friendship Gardens
Collingwood has had a twin city relationship with Katano, Japan since 1981. This pairing has been successful with active volunteers in both communities keeping the relationship strong. What many people may not know is that one of our parks is dedicated to this sister city relationship; the Friendship Gardens located just north of the Police/Fire station on Minnesota Street. It’s really quite lovely and suitable for an afternoon stroll or a wedding ceremony.
