Welcome to KC Geo Clue!
In this cache series you will find extra large bison caches that will give you clues to find the final puzzle cache. If you have ever played the game Clue, you shouldn't have any problem with this cache series. Thanks to California Cacher "Winkster" for allowing me to steal heavily from his idea.
King County will serve as the "board" for this game. There will be a series of 6 caches representing each of the Clue suspects spread throughout King County as well as the final puzzle cache. You, are the star Medina Police Detective. You have been summoned to a large mansion on the Medina waterfront to investigate the death of Mr. Boddy, a local multi-millionaire who suddenly and tragically passed away during a dinner party. Your job as the detective will be to "investigate" each of the "suspects" (caches) when you visit the cache and log the find. Inside each suspect cache you will find information that will help you narrow down who done it, with what weapon and in what room the evil act took place. Each cache will have a special codes written on the top of the log sheet consisting of "SWR" numbers as well as a separate three digit number. These SWR numbers correspond to the numbers on the Detective Note Pad that is attached to each cache. The "S" numbers are the suspects, numbers S1 - S6 which represent the all of the game characters. On the Detective Note Pad, Ms. Scarlet, for instance is S1. The "W" numbers will be for the weapons, W1 - W6. The knife is W1 on the Detective Note Pad. The "R" numbers are the rooms, R1 - R9. The Hall is R9 on the note pad. During your "investigation" of the "suspect", you will want to write done the SWR and three digit numbers you find in each cache on your detective note pad there by eliminating the suspects, weapons and rooms. Please note that you will need ALL THE NUMBERS on the laminated card to find the final puzzle cache! Also, PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE LAMINATED CARD THAT HAS THE SWR NUMBER PRINTED ON IT! The final puzzle cache will give you instructions as to what to do with the information you obtained from each suspect (cache).
Col. Mustard
THIS IS THE REPLACEMENT OF THE ORIGINAL COL. MUSTARD WHO KEPT DISAPPEARING. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FOUND THE ORIGINAL COL. MUSTARD, YOU WILL NOT NEED TO FIND THIS ONE (UNLESS YOU WANT TO) AS I AM USING THE SAME CODES FROM THE ORIGINAL COL. MUSTARD CACHE ON THIS ONE.
When you arrive to interrogate Col. Mustard, you notice that he is wearing a dark gold colored jacket. In your discussions with Col. Mustard, you find that Col. Mustard is a war hero and severed in a couple of wars. Col. Mustard, now a retired military veteran and avid gun collector. He met Mr. Boddy at a gun show and found that he and Mr. Boddy had similar tastes as gun collecting goes. He found out that Mr. Boddy has a highly coveted collection of civil war Colts that the good Colonel would love to have as his own. The Colonel's confidence oozes as you would expect from any military veteran and its not too far fetched to see the good Colonel using the revolver on Mr. Boddy to obtain the coveted Colt collection!
Col. Mustard, using military tactics of cover and concealment (sort of), is located......at the base of a three-headed maple. Parking coords are provided. Happy sleuthing!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE STINGING NETTLES AT GZ. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND WEAR GLOVES WHEN MAKING THE GRAB. I HAVE UPDATED THE ATTRIBUTES TO REFELCT THE POISONOUS PLANTS.
