Geocache Description:

A multicache at the Oamaru Harbour.

In April 2012 the Waitaki Distrct Council in conjunction with the North Otago Museum have install 13 very informative and descriptive signs along an interpretive walk around the Harbour. Each sign relates to a particular aspect of the historic harbour.

It is suggested you park at parking area just east of the overhead foot bridge and follow the signs. Along the way gather the information required from the signs and then workout the location of the cache using the maths below. The published coordinates relate to the car park.
#1 Sign is at WP1.

The cache is a 360 ml snap lock container with log book and pencil. On route you could also pick up a few other traditional caches.
