Ocho de Mayo - CCC Night Out #80! Event Cache
zaverj: Had a nice time co-hosting the event, chatting with old friends, and meeting new ones. Thanks to all who came to celebrate Ocho de Mayo! ;)
There are a couple of TBs still listed as in this Event cache inventory, but I know at least two are in my possession, and I'll log them tonight...

Please join us at 6:30pm for the 80th consecutive CCC Night Out. And what do you know? CCC #80 just happens to fall on OCHO de Mayo, the lesser known occasion that quietly arrives three days past its showier cousin, Cinco!
What's an event host(ess) to do? It's harder and harder to find a space big enough for all the Central CT Caching revelers, especially without needing to leave a deposit or have a special (limited) menu. Chuck's worked with me, though, as I assured them we'd be good patrons (and that tables would share bills as much as possible). The menu includes salads, burgers, wraps, pizza and other pub fare that generally cost $6-15. If the weather is decent, we can spill over onto the adjacent outdoor patio, but we have an inside room of our own reserved as well.
The Central CT Cachers' Nite Out is an evening gathering for caching enthusiasts, generally on the second Tuesday of every month held in varying locations each month. Mark your calendars now! Everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher… new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month.
If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone. As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a numbers of places in the area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the Central Connecticut area.
