Another echo of a past time. EG Historical Cemetery #7 is on the grounds of the Rocky Hill Fairgrounds, near the new NE tech Building and the new CVS.
I first spotted this cemetery when the new CVS was being built. Closer inspection revealed a cemetery with inscriptions dating back as long ago as 1750 and as recently as 1938. Most interestingly, a stone and plaque mark the likely resting place of Henry Matteson (1646 - 1690). The Mattesons are prominent in Rhode Island history. Online records describe this cemetery as the Vaughn Lot with 28 burials.
Please be careful with the cc, as the camo is fragile. There is no need to move any stones in the wall.
