We have added three more caches going from Aconbury Woods down to Higgins Well.
The walk of about three quarters of a mile is down hill to the well from the parking at Little Birch Village hall. This is also the suggested parking for the Ancient places series in Aconbury Woods. There are many paths leading down to the well some with yellow arrows marking the way but if you follow our cache coordinates we think you will find this the most direct route. The path in most places is good and not generally too muddy except for the last 200yds that can be a bit slippery after heavy rain or in the winter.
