Ladies Mile is a woodland walk in the grounds of the National Trust's Ardress house, there is no fee to access the walk and entrance is available all year round, Ardress House offers afternoons of fun and relaxation for everyone, built in the 17th century as a farmhouse, it was remodelled in Georgian times and has a character and charm all of its own, elegant Neo-classical drawing-room with plasterwork by the Dublin plasterer Michael Stapleto, on display is the 1799 table made for the speaker of the Irish Parliament upon which King George V signed the Constitution of Northern Ireland on 22nd June 1922, it is home to an important collection of farm machinery and tools and rich with apple orchards. Thanks to the National Trust for permission to place the cache.
