This party is open to all geocachers: Puget Sounders and visitors, WSGA members and non members, old-timers and newcomers, families, and single folks. So come picnic, visit friends and meet some new folks, trade caching secrets, and enjoy the good ole summertime!
This time around we have changed the venue. Riverview Park is in Renton right off the Maple Valley Hwy just a couple miles east of I405. The park features the Cedar River on one side of the park and the Cedar River Trail on the other. Bring your bikes to do some bike caching! See more info about the park in the link.

Location: Riverview Park, Renton. We've reserved the only shelter in the park.
Date: Saturday July 7th 2012

TB/Coin Exchange
Creative Cache Fair: We will repeat the CCF again this year. From 5:00 PM - 6:00PM we will have a Creative Cache Fair. This will consist of several local cachers with examples of their cache creations on display. Cachers can stop by meet these caching masterminds and discuss camo techniques, cache container and cache page designs. I am currently working on a list of cachers who will be participating in the CCF and will update as I get confirmation from the individual cachers.
Potluck
Food & drink: We'll have hot dogs on the grill (plus buns & fixin's) and cold drinks (juice, soda, water). This is a potluck, so please bring a dish to share (side dish or dessert). We'll update the menu as people respond. If you want another protein (chicken, beef, fish) or something else to drink (lemonade?), please bring it (no alcohol allowed).
Picnicking: We have the large shelter in the park, plus a huge lawn to spread out on, so bring a blanket, lawn chairs, or whatever you'd like to picnic on.
RSVP: When you respond, please let us know how many to expect and what you're bringing, and I'll post updates to the menu and activities.
Volunteers needed! Secondary grills are welcome, as well. Help with setup and cleanup also appreciated, cooking - we actually have the shelter reserved from 3:30PM till 8:30 PM to allow for that. We will likely need some folks with folding tables for the CCF as well as chairs. If you can assist with any of the volunteering efforts, please note that in your "will attend" post as well.
