The remnants of Tropical Storm Irene blew through here on August 28, 2011. The Dog River rose out of its banks and destroyed everything in its path.
It looks like the river is trying to take more of this field at the same time it is leaving more sediment to build it up. Glad to see they can use part of it this year!
A guy in Northfield recognized a huge stump in this field that was from his yard on Water street. That is a ways up stream from here!
