Fishlake Foray is a series of 7 caches on a 4km circular walk. A mixture of cache sizes from nano to ‘lunch box’. Mostly rural beside river and canal (careful with small children!), small section in residential area and a small stretch on a path beside a main road. Look out for large fish in the river, and various birds in the water meadows.
Parking near #1 is available during limited hours. Do not attempt to park in the private lane approaching #1 this is private except for the footpath. Otherwise try parking in the residential area near #6 and do the caches in reverse order.
Only #3 is large enough for any toys or travel bugs/coins.
Section from #1 to #4 can be muddy depending on weather.
Be careful to collect clues for the Bonus cache #7 at some but not all of the caches from #1 to #6.
Mostly cycle and pushchair friendly but two bridges over the river (near #2 and #3) have a few steps at each end.
