Geocache Description:

The easy to find caches kept disappearing, so this is now a challenging nano. Placed at the south end of the 25th Street Bridge Chime Rail in San Diego; this one will challenge your geosense. The fun is playing the chimes--fun for all ages. This cache is a tiny initials-only log now.

This Chime Rail is found on 25th between F and G. The view from here is, well, meh, but the walk over the bridge is rivaled by nothing else like it in the world. That's because it is the world's largest xylophone! You can play the chimes with your hand. To get the best sound out of the chimes strike the bottom 1/3 of each chime "smartly" so it strikes against the inner upright support that the chime is attached to. It swings in line with the freeway traffic, not the bridge traffic. Take a moment to read the plaque set in the sidewalk at the north end of the bridge for more information.
