There and Back 7 - Driven Nuts Traditional Cache
vincent1960: I have decided to archive this whole series as extensive works are being carried out and many of the cache areas have been destroyed. I hope to set another series when the work is finished.

A circular walk around the River Rhonnda.
This is a circular walk containing a variety of different geocache containers. It is set around the River Rhondda in the Ferndale area and shows how much the valley has regenerated since the mines were closed. Recommended parking is at the Rhondda Life building which is called the Glynrhedyn, from there you will need to walk down the road to Greenwood Park and past the Mining Memorial to take the path down. The caches are both sides of the river and can be accessed from a number of different places including the Rhondda Fach Sports Centre. Watch of for wildlife including Herons and Wild Ducks and you maybe able to see Salmon or Trout in the river. We have tried to keep the caches close to the paths but stealth will be needed as this is quite a popular walk and is also part of the National Cycle Network.
This is quite a sneaky cache container and you will have to look quite hard to find it.
