Geocache Description:

The container is a round black screw on type.

This plane was erected here in 1995. It was assembled by using the parts of three different planes. The original plane a -CA-222-3NM- was built in 1952 and assigned to the Royal Canadian Airforce. Powered by two Pratt and Whitney 985 radial engines she was a fuel guzzler,it would consume a barrel of fuel an hour. The Twin Beech aircraft could cruise at 200 mph on wheels and 145 mph on floats.It was a perfect bush plane in its time and could carry eight passengers. It was instrumental in opening up the north.
