A plastic tube cache. You will need your own writing instrument. This cache is NOT recommended as a drive by, as it is a dead end to private property with no where to turn. It iis part of a 5 mile circular walk around the village of Quernmore. Please note the terrain rating, some areas are particularly steep, but with that comes wonderful views!
If you are heading to/from the Quernmore - Beyond the Barn cache, please be careful in the fields, lambs were present when setting the cache. Plus, the public footpath uses a gate half way across the field at the top of the hill. The cache is named after the nearby house. If you are heading to/from the Quernmore - Hare Appletree Farm cache, the public footpath route is not clearly signposted. Follow the track through the farm buildings. See below:
