Interlochen Plaza
It wasn’t all that long ago when the Plaza was a main destination for shoppers. Places like the Drug Store, Book Store and Video Store had many familiar faces in them and you always seemed to run into a friend now and then.
Grandma’s Kitchen had the regulars coming and going and people were always shopping at the Dollar Post or Ric’s. On the weekends and thru the summer months, families would head down the road to Fun Country for a great place to relax.
Times were good and store owners were living the dream of owning and operating their own business. Hopefully soon, new businesses will open up and bring back the shoppers, but until then, an easy 2-stage geo-cache awaits your find.
It’s approx. 200 yds (+ or - ) between the two stages. Large cache container will hold most fair trade items as well as any travel bugs.
As always, please place cache container etc. as you found them so the next cacher can have a fun time. Also, please zip bag inside tight.
Update: 3/1/13. The second stage was behind a plaza. They have recently torn down the plaza and now the second stage is out in the open, well behind some trees.
