Have you ever got to the cache location and turned to your searching partners and said "did you bring the pen?" And your searching partners say "I thought you had it". That is a problem that has haunted us since we started caching so we decided to hide a cache with plenty of pens and pencils in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills.
You are looking for a .30 caliber ammo can shouldn't be too hard to find. The day it was hidden the cache contained a few tradeables including 3 decks of playing cards a handful of writing utensils a few nick nacks and the Mr. Oreo travel bug.
Other Notes: This cache is hidden on private property with the owners permission. It is on an active farm/ranch operation just off of a county road you should be able to just pull along the side of the road to park. This isn't a very busy area so stealth isn't a must however the cornfields and pastures near this area will have cattle in them from time to time so if there are cattle present in the nearby field please keep dogs in the car and try to be as sneaky as possible so the critters don't get spooked. You will not have to cross any fences to find this cache but, you will have to step over some tree limbs! If you see someone nearby on an atv or working the fields they aren't muggles they are the land owners and may even stop for a visit.
