Geocache Description:

A traditional cache that takes you to a historical site that stands on Malaysian land

Nestled amid HDB blocks is a surprising scene - ramshackle huts surrounded by wild vegetation and coconut trees, untouched by the rampant urbanisation that has claimed so many pockets of greenery in Singapore. It's a piece of Malaysian land but you don't need a passport to step onto it. This little hillock called Bukit Kasita is home to a family of caretakers and the final resting places of some minor royalty from Johor. According to some Islamic historians, the graveyard was opened in 1530. Ask politely and you may be allowed to view the tombs with headstones covered in yellow cloth, a mark of royalty. Or if you fancy, enjoy a cheap haircut in the shadow of coconut trees. And BYOP.

PS: This website has pretty good details about the graveyard http://thelongnwindingroad.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/a-vestige-of-16th-century-singapura/
