Geocache Description:

This cache is located on 'Primmy Hill'. The cache is a small lock and seal container with just enough room for small items as well as the logbook.

The Primmy Hill is a small mound that offers a great vantage point of the local area. From the Primmy Hill, there are great views into Glen Nevis and towards the Ben, Carn Mor Dearg and Aonach Mor. Looking across the village of Inverlochy to the south west, Loch Linnhe can be seen extending into the distance. The entrance to the Caledonian Canal and the Corpach basins can be seen by looking north west towards Loch Eil. The entrance to the Great Glen is in the north east. On the top of the Primmy Hill, there is a plaque marking the second battle of Inverlochy. The impressive ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle are 400m from here and can be seen by looking north.

There is a geocache at these ruins (GC349TK) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=8e8a89ee-42f6-4769-a8f5-c1602795bec7 .

Old trainers/wellies may be a good idea when approaching this cache!

As well as providing great 360 degree views all year round, The Primmy Hill is a great location for sledging in the winter and rolling easter eggs in spring!
