Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The House Pond, or House Field Pond, later to become known as Shoulder of Mutton Pond from its odd shape, appears to lay in a natural depression, and is reputed to be fed by its own independent underground spring, in addition to the stream flowing through it and down eastwards into the Roding.
Swimming is permitted daily before 8.30 a.m, though you won't need your swimwear for this custom micro as it is slightly away from the pond. Not at ground level.
Take the 101 or W19 from Manor Park Station, or the 101 or 308 from Wanstead Tube.
