Geocache Description:

This cache is just a short walk from his easier older brother 'little treasure'. the hint should give it up!But I dare you to find it without! no doubt this will spark lots of easy find remarks as usual lol..... enjoy.
Easy terrain accessible to all, first to find will get a caching sticker for the car!

The cache is a test tube container containing a pencil near to the St Michael and All Angels Church.

Built between 11th and 13th centuries, the simple stone built church lies at the heart of the village. Since internal re-ordering, the church now benefits from good lighting, heating and carpeting up to the chancel step. Eight pews only remain, partitioned by oak and glass screens 6' high with double doors into the worshipping part of the church.

2007 saw Sir Roy Strong speaking of the way forward for ancient, rural churches and Mansel Lacy was used as the flagship, twice being featured on Midlands TV. People from all round the country call in to see how the church has changed and how it is now an extra important part of village life.

The Church & Community Centre won the Calor Special Award 2002 and Calor Winner 2007 Special Innovation Award.
