Cache placed at the Frankopan Castle (dating back to the 12th century) on Trg Kamplin (Kamplin Square) in Krk.
The Frankopan Castle in the city of Krk is positioned on the Trg Kamplin, built at the very sea by a family belonging to the Croatian nobility.
The Frankopan Castle was built over the period of the 12th and 13th centuries. The oldest part of the castle is on the side of the square tower, while the round tower part is presumably the one built in the 13th century. The Castle was completed fully to what it represents now by the mid-14th century. Around the 15th and 17th centuries it was twice reconstructed.
Initially built for town protection, it is today a cultural object. You can check out the inner rooms of the castle and climb up to the tower for a splendid view of the town and the sea.
Please bring your own pencil!
Update: Thank you, jongletti and Silberschakal, for adding new containers in time. The larger container is now the functional one, remaining in the new hiding place.
