The Swamp Walk Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AAXZ: The cache is indeed missing as well as the log it was hiding in. When we put this cache here there were no others in the area and now there are quite a few so we will just archive it instead of trying to find a new spot that doesn't interfere with the others in the area.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located along the Danvers/Topsfield Rail Trail. It is located approximately at the junction of the new Swamp Walk that the Danvers Conservation Commission is building. Eventually, volunteers hope to create a circular pathway around the swamp, connecting several islands in the pond, and then heading back to the rail trail. I don't think this cache will be winter friendly with more than a couple of inches of snow.

The most logical parking for this cache is at the Choate Farm Conservation Area (there are a few caches there too). Once you hit the rail trail head north.

We as a family love these rail trails and thought this would be a great place for my first cache placement. Props to Froedo Bagginz and his Lemonade stand where we acquired this ready to go cache. The cache is a small lock n lock that is covered in camo tape. We left a scratch ticket as a FTF prize.

Congrats to Mtnlion Mothergoose for the FTF. Since you don't seem to be caching in an exotic place we are assuming the ticket was a loser :(
