This is a nano cache.
I have been planning to place a cache here for a while and I finally got around to placing it. The Amite County Courthouse was completed October 1, 1840. It is the oldest courthouse in the state of Mississippi in continuous use. It has been added to several times but the central part of the building and the original second story courtroom are still used. The War Memorial is on the front lawn and is the site of the Veterans Day ceremony every year. I just wanted to call attention to another piece of history in one of the most historic counties in Mississippi.
