Geocache Description:

This cache is now maintained by MattCNS.

Ross River Power Trail -

Townsville is blessed with a great river, and some fantastic cycling/walking trails that follow almost the entire length of the river.

What better way to encourage cachers to get out and explore these trails but to line them with caches to form Townsville's first Power Trail. Caches will be within 1 - 5 meters from the trail so they will be accessible to all including wheel bound (chair or pram).

Caches will be various types depending on the hide and will be between 161 and 200 meters apart.

This cache is located on Loam Island, meters from the car park and about 15-20 meters behind the toilets.

The cache is a small black systema container holding a log book, pencil and FTF prize.

**CAUTION:- Cachers have seen snakes in the area. Take care. **
