Geocache Description:

A small cache placed near Wool bridge replacing an archived cache with kind permission of S&B previous cache owners.

Please bring your own pen.

There may be space for small swops.

Wool bridge is a historic crossing point over the River Frome , which is now closed to traffic except pedestrians and cyclists. The river Frome rises in the Dorset Downs at Evershot, passes through Maiden Newton, Dorchester, West Stafford and Woodsford. At Wareham it and the River Piddle, flow into Poole Harbour via the Wareham Channel

There was once a sign on the bridge which read 'Any person willfully injuring any part of this County bridge will be guilty of felony and upon conviction liable to be transported for life by the Court'.

To the North side of the old bridge you will see Woolbridge Manor. This location has an association with Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles known in the novel as Wellbridge House.

You are looking for a small cache in old spice pot slightly larger than a film canister. The pot is covered in black tape. Please take great care when retrieving and replacing the cache – Thank you.

NB - attributes edited to include may require wading!
I know it's tricky to retrieve! Not all caches are as easy to retrieve as others.

Congratulations RWxY on being our first to find of our first ever cache!
