OWING TO THE DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS, THERE IS A CHANGE TO OUR REGULAR MONTHLY MEET - AS YOU MIGHT HAVE GUESSED FROM THE TITLE IT IS TO BE ON A WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR THIS MONTH ONLY
This evening sees the second anniversary of SELBAC so we do hope you can join us! IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED WE DRESS IN RED, WHITE AND BLUE TO CELEBRATE THE WEEKEND!!! There will be patriotic cupcakes too!!!
Welcome to SELBAC (South East London, Bromley and Croydon)!! We shall be at The Rising Sun at Eden Park, Kent on 6th June 2012 from 6:30 until late! Feel free to just call by and say "Hi!" or wait for "Last Orders!"......
Experienced or not, this is an opportunity to meet with fellow geocachers, swap stories and trackables..... and put faces to names.
We have our own large contained area in the pub and everyone in the room is a geocacher!
There is wheel chair access at the venue and children are very welcome as long as they are supervised.
Freshly cooked, hot food available at reasonable cost and sandwiches and soup also available.
The nearest train stations are Elmers End or Eden Park which are only 20-25 minutes from London Bridge, it is then a 10 minute walk from either station. The trams also stop at Elmers End (from East Croydon). The bus stop outside is for the 194, 356 and 358 buses and there is a large car park to the rear of the pub.
We're a friendly bunch so please come along! Please feel very welcome to join us especially if you are new.
We look forward to seeing you on the evening.
