A short walk down the rail trail in Somers. Grab it on your way to or from Ghost Rail.
Finally got around to finding Ghost Rail and was surprised that such a beautiful walk only had the one hide! So we found a likely spot and planted this companion on the way back. Same parking area as Ghost Rail (N 41° 19.263 W 073° 42.722 ), but a much shorter hike. This one is a short walk from parking, and just off the trail. But don't treat this as a park and grab, the trail is beautiful, and if you haven't found Ghost Rail yet, add that to your day. One of our favorites. Enjoy!
