This is a wonderful stone church, one of my favorites in KS. KS has large number of stone buildings, each orginal in its own way. Please be respectful to the area, as it has a maintained cemetary and is still used for funerals, weddings and some Sunday services. Cache is in area that's not maintained, so grass can get tall and thick. Wildlife is ever present. While hiding cache 15+ deer came by, coyotes were crying near by, rabbits were playing and owl hooting! Ticks and snakes are possible, so please be on alert for them. CITO if needed. Hope you enjoy the building and please stop and think about the massive amount of labor and skill that was required to build it. It was built long before the days of cranes, trucks, power tools or safety equipment. Built by the power of man and beast.
